Glossary definition of MSD memory card

MSD is the abbreviation of Memory Stick Duo and is a Flash memory card, designed by Sony for the use in their own products.

A MSD memory card is 31 x 20 x 1.6 mm and is available in the same capacity as the bigger Memory Stick. The only difference is the length, this one is 2 / 3 the size of a Memory Stick memory card. This type of memory card is designed by Sony as an answer to the devices they are designed for that became smaller and smaller.
